Philly Folk Fest!

We’re looking forward to playing at the musical highlight of the summer around here — the Philadelphia Folk Festival! We’ll have more information about the wheres and whens soon, and we’ll post it to our gigs page when we know. For now, mark your calendars for the festival, which runs August 16-19.

Homey Award nominations

Aaron Nathans & Michael G. Ronstadt are finalists for four Homey Awards, including Album of the Year! The Homeys are the regional awards in the Delaware Valley, sponsored by WSTW. The other nominations are best folk song (Old Film), best Americana song (Northwind), and best collaboration (Hang On for the Ride).

January shows!

Aaron and Michael will be playing at the Philadelphia Folksong Society house concert series in Paoli, PA on Jan. 19 and the Chestnut Tree house concert series in Oxford, CT on Jan. 20, then River Spirit on Jan. 27 and Hyde Park, NY on Jan. 28. Come on out!

We have begun to send out the new album to Kickstarter backers. It will become publicly available on Oct. 27, the start of our weekend of CD release shows in New York and Philadelphia. We’ll have more additional dates to post in the coming weeks.
